Anna Peter-Breton, born in 1985 and originally from Hungary and Kyrgyzstan, has been based in Paris since 2009.
Her work explores themes of identity, memory, and the fleeting beauty of existence, serving as both a personal reflection and a universal commentary on life’s impermanence. Drawing on her nomadic heritage and experiences across diverse landscapes, Anna seeks to transcend boundaries of time and place, blending a deep connection to nature with a contemporary call to rediscover our relationship with the natural world.
Characterized by understated elegance and emotional depth, her art balances abstraction with subtle revelation, evoking a profound sense of wonder. Shaped by her multicultural background and extensive travels, Anna’s pieces are both intimate and expansive, inviting viewers to contemplate the delicate relationships between nature, identity, and cultural memory.
Her practice features soft, atmospheric gradients and nuanced shifts in light and color, capturing the fragility of nature and the transformative essence of her surroundings.
Each piece creates a space for quiet introspection, offering a meditation on the interconnectedness of environments and emotions. Through her work, Anna presents a world shaped by motion and change, inviting a renewed appreciation for its transient beauty.
